Among the vegetarian starters, the Crispy Kerala stands out. This dish features finely spiced Kerala slices that are deep-fried to perfection, balanced beautifully with slices of onion—delicately crispy and mildly flavorful. The Pilli Pilli Mushrooms are another must-try. Tossed in a homemade pilli pilli spicy sauce, they deliver a vibrant kick that mushroom lovers won’t soon forget. For those craving a tangy profile, the Chilli Paneer Dry, featuring aromatic Indian cottage cheese sautéed with spring onions in a delectable chilli sauce, is a must-have.
Meat lovers will revel in the succulent options available among the non-vegetarian starters. The Pilli Pilli Chicken Wings are a fiery treat, marinated in a homemade spicy sauce and cooked to tender perfection. If you're looking for something with a unique flavor profile, the Jeera Chicken Wings, marinated with fresh cumin seeds, offer an aromatic twist that beautifully complements the succulent chicken. The Tandoori Chicken Wings are another highlight, marinated in a fragrant mix of ginger, garlic, spices, and yogurt before being chargrilled in the tandoor, imparting a smoky depth that enhances the dish immensely. Don't miss the Fish Pakora either; this dish features seasoned fish coated in a crispy batter, delivering a satisfying crunch with every bite.

I would highly recommend this restaurant for both Nepali and Indian cuisine. Food here is exceptional and the service is good as well. The ambience is great for dining with friends and family. We had a great time altogether.
Excellent try the lamb chops… the grilled chicken wings and masala mogo, very impressed!
We haven't been to the malibu in about 2 years. Went tonight and nothing has changed still absolutely lovely food cannot fault anything. The only thing I don't like about this place is the parking isn't very good and its way to far away from bedford if only it was closer I would be there every week. Everyone says since Tony left it went down hill I think that is completely wrong. Reminded me of the first time I went 10 years ago
Absolutely brilliant tasting food, a new spot that’s opened up. Service will for sure improve as time goes on & as it gets busier too, the prices are very reasonable & good. Very happy & will definitely visit again & again with family & friends. Food was fresh, tasty & great portion sizes. Loved it 5/5. Thanks again to Shankar for being very hospitable towards us & for taking care of us. Brilliant new local overall.
Good food, friendly staff. Good food recommendation if you ask. A little slow on the service. I would still eat here again with a group of friends or family. We ordered Methi Maari Chicken on the bone and Chilli, Garlic Naan.
I had a fantastic experience at Malibu Darbar , which offers a wonderful blend of Nepalese and Indian cuisine. The moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious authentic flavors, aromatic spices, and beautifully presented dishes. The momo dumplings were a highlight: fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The butter chicken was creamy . What truly made the evening special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server patiently explained the dishes and made excellent recommendations based on our preferences. Service was prompt, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout the meal. Owner brother is so kind and friendly. Whether you’re new to Nepalese and Indian food or a longtime fan, this restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of great food and outstanding service makes it a place I’ll definitely return to and recommend to friends and family.
My family used to eat here many years ago, so me and my cousin decided to go back and see how it was. We both vividly remembered the malbu wings being amazing and 10 years later they tasted as good as we remembered. We ended up ordering way too many starters so we weren't able to try the mains, but we're already planning a return journey. Food - 4 out of 5 (would have been 5 but there was a little salt missing in the kebabs) but everything was fresh. Service - 4 out of 5 (only one server when it was quite busy) all members were polite and friendly. We went on a Saturday night and most restaurants in the area try to get rid of you once youve eatten. NOT HERE. We enjoyed a couple more drinks and could relax. Recommendations - malbu wings with sauce on top
